Poland:  Warsaw and Krakow - Sophisticated Sister Cities

Join the Grannies as they seek hidden treasures in restored Warsaw. They stroll through a park dedicated to Chopin filled with beautiful gardens surrounded by 18th century palaces. In Krakow, the city of the dragon, they experience the cultural seat of Poland - its significant churches, old castles, interesting shops and, of course, good food. Not far from Krakow is the famous salt mine. They go 300 feet below ground and see spectacular carvings and rooms all made out of salt! And finally, walk with the Grannies as they visit Auschwitz and Birkenau, two moving monuments and museums that capture a sad part of world history.
